Mr. Johnson graduated from Clemson University in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. During his scholastic career, Mr. Johnson has focused heavily on the study of the Spanish language, receiving seven years of Spanish instruction both before and during college. Mr. Johnson attended the University of South Carolina School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1999. Mr. Johnson was thereafter admitted to practice law in the State of South Carolina in 2000 and is also admitted to practice in Federal Court.
Mr. Johnson's early legal career consisted of heavy involvement in the areas of Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation and Foreclosure Litigation. In order to improve his Spanish language skills, Mr. Johnson spent much of 2003 and 2004 in the country of Mexico, where he met and married his wife of more than seven years. Mr. Johnson has proudly assisted the Latin American Community for more than ten years and Mr. Johnson began practicing Immigration Law in 2004.
In addition to Immigration Law, Mr. Johnson now focuses on Criminal Defense and all types of civil litigation in multiple areas of the law. Mr. Johnson enthusiastically represents clients with a wide variety of legal needs in both the English-speaking and Spanish-speaking communities.
